Recently I was gifted some products from my lovely friends over at Crio Brü and since I’ve had them for over a week now, I’ve had a chance to really try them and their benefits.

What is Crio Brü? They are a company that sells coffee alternatives made from 100% roasted cocoa beans. There is no sugar, no gluten, no dairy and no fillers in their products and it’s filled to the brim with anti-oxidants, minerals and energy. Crio Brü have stated that their products contain “a natural stimulant called theobromine which is gentle, long-lasting and non-addictive.”

I was lucky enough to choose some of the products I wanted to try, and of course, I headed straight for the Lunar Latte and the Velvet Latte. Duh. Who doesn’t want pink or purple drinks? These two are absolutely phenomenal and I can’t recommend these two products enough.

The Lunar Latte is made up of chamomile, lavender, passionflower, purple carrots and Reishi mushroom – it definitely sounds like an odd combination, but these ingredients mixed together create the perfect pre bed drink to get you into that sleepy state. Personally, I suffer from insomnia and restlessness, especially at night time, and after trying this for a week, I can definitely say that this has helped put my mind at ease before bed and help me sleep.

Did you know that the Lunar Latte gets it’s purple colour from the anthocyanins (antioxidants) found in the purple carrot?

Velvet Latte is made up of beetroot, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, black pepper and whilst the peppers may make you turn your head and not want to try it… all I can say is, it doesn’t taste like pepper and it’s really delicious. I was a bit hesitant with this one when I read all the ingredients, but once I tasted it, a chai flavour erupted in my mouth and I was in heaven. Now, this one is packed full of goodness, the web page for the Velvet Latte states that “Beetroot is brilliant for detoxification, boosting energy and stamina, and lowering blood pressure. Beets are high in immune-boosting vitamin C, fiber, and essential minerals like potassium (vital for healthy nerve and muscle function) and manganese (which is good for your bones, liver, kidneys, and pancreas). Beets also contain the B vitamin folate.”

Along with the superfood lattes, I was given one of their main products, the Cavalla – and it literally tastes like chocolate goodness; but healthy. Who would have thought that chocolate can be healthy? It has hints of coconut and cinnamon, but they are very subtle. Honestly, I hate coconut, and I couldn’t even taste it – bonus! This was delicious with a dash of milk and some biscuits.

One product I was given, I had heard about and seen in my local shops – Rooibos tea. I’d heard that this product was great for vitamin c and anti-oxidants, so when I received the Red Espresso, I was excited to try this as it was always something I was hesitant to try. This one, I have definitely had more than once and it’s also my partners favourite out of everything I was gifted, so it’s nearly all finished. Surprisingly, it has 5x more anti-oxidants than green tea and it has no additives, no GMOs, no caffeine and no sugar – that is amazing for myself as I don’t do well with caffeine, sugar and I need all the anti-oxidants I can get.

Lastly, the Pumpkin Spice which was definitely not what I was expecting! I didn’t think I would like it, but I was pleasantly surprised as I tasted spicy hints, almost like a chai latte. This product is described as “rich, warm, all-natural cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves blended with premium, chocolaty cocoa grounds” – which is definitely correct!

Overall, I’m super happy with all of these products, and I will definitely be ordering more when I run out of my favourites in the future – and I’m also keen to try out some of the other products, like the other superfood lattes. I just can’t resist those pretty colours.

I was lucky to be given a promotion code to use for the rest of May – so if you wan’t to head over and buy something (they sell samples, too), then don’t forget to chuck in code “BO10” for 10% off your order – I do not receive anything in return or gain commission if you use this code, it’s purely because I love these products and want to share it with my followers.

Check out my Instagram post about these products here! Photos on the Instagram post are taken by myself.

  • As a society, we need to say no to the idea that’s bodies need to look a specific way to be beautiful!

Being any size is beautiful because beauty truly comes from a banging personality, not how you look.

Be kind, spread love ❤️

  • How do you talk to yourself when you look in the mirror? Do you tear yourself down and criticise every small thing? Or do you fill yourself will love and uplift your mind with kind words?

The way we talk about and talk to ourselves plays a big role in how we view our bodies. The more we say negative things, the more negative our mindset is.

Take some time to really think about the things you say to yourself, especially when you’re feeling down. If you can turn just a little bit of that around into a positive comment, you will begin to lift yourself up ❤️ I believe in you. I know you’re beautiful and I know you can love yourself. 📸 @_chloesmithphotography_
  • Learning new things is bloody terrifying, but at some point we have to. Whether it be learning a new hobby or learning to love yourself... there will come a time where you are so overwhelmed and you decide to give it a try. In the end, you’re a new person; thriving ❤️
  • It’s #internationalwomensday day today... and you know what that means! We talk about empowerment!

I feel empowered when I empower others, simply because seeing other women blossom into different people when they find their confidence, is so empowering to me. Seeing other women lift each other up is so empowering.

As women in this world, our sexuality is often seen as something that is shameful or taboo. That we shouldn’t feel sexy or feel like a bad b*tch. That we should cover up and be quiet... But when we stick together and celebrate ourselves and other women, we create this chain reaction of passion and positivity. We see women emerge as new people, empowered and fierce.

I LOVE seeing women’s empowerment. It makes me feel so empowered to be a part of something so special. So this #internationalwomensday let’s empower and celebrate all women, for their sexuality, their confidence, their uniqueness. Everything. We are amazing creatures.

@lovehoneyofficial @lovehoneyau support women, supporting each other. So today, I’m spending International Women’s Day being #empoweredbylovehoney and #empoweredbywomen ❤️ Let’s hear it for all the gals 🎉 #lovehoneyau
  • Want your mind blown? I can tell you something that will absolutely boggle your mind... Health comes at every size!

You cannot look at someone and determine that they are unhealthy, because newsflash, any size body can be unhealthy. You can be thin and be unhealthy and yes, you can be fat and be unhealthy. But you cannot determine someone’s health just by looking at them.

This fake concern people have for larger people’s health is unreal... the only reason people pretend to care is because they have a predisposed idealism of what healthy is. But that ideal is so inaccurate and so toxic.

Let’s be kind to people of all sizes and let’s not shame someone for their size! We need to uplift and empower 💪🏻
